May 23, 2022

Graffiti – 8:40 a.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – Sometime between 10:30 p.m Sunday and 8:00 a.m. today, an unknown suspect used black, blue, white and green spray paint to tag the building in 17 locations.
Domestic Violence – 10:35 p.m. – 5400 block of Marion – The victim reported her husband was being treated at a hospital after he drank too much and fell down. She reported he was calling her from the hospital and was making verbal threats to harm her when he was released. The victim also reported that he physically assaulted her earlier in the day by hitting her in the face numerous times. An Emergency Protection Order was obtained and served to him at the hospital.

May 24, 2022

Assist Outside Agency – 1:05 a.m. – 6900 block of Turf (Huntington Beach) – An officer responded to the location to assist Huntington Beach Police Department with a search for suspects involved in a residential burglary. Upon his arrival, one suspect was in custody and two were still outstanding and possibly inside a tented residence. A search was unable to locate the two outstanding subjects.
Arrest – 2:37 a.m. – 5400 block of Marion – From a call for service where a subject returned home after being released from a hospital, the subject was arrested for being in violation of a court order.

May 25, 2022

Vehicle Burglary – 8:50 a.m. – 4800 block of Fieldbrook – Sometime between 5/21/22-5/24/22, an unknown suspect broke the passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle and stole miscellaneous clothing and documents.
Burglary – 11:41 a.m. – 5800 block of Ball Rd. – Sometime between Monday night and today’s date, an unknown suspect broke into a detached garage by breaking the pad locks and stole a Champion generator.
Disturbance (Subject) – 10:46 p.m. – 4300 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a call for service regarding an irate subject throwing things in the bar, a female subject was arrested for being drunk in public.

May 26, 2022

Traffic Collision – 4:56 a.m. – Katella/Valley View – Officers were dispatched to a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision. Upon arrival, police found the pedestrian to be alert and coherent with significant injuries to his legs and head.
Grand Theft – 7:07 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A male subject reportedly stole over $1,000 worth of t-shirts and was seen getting into the passenger seat of a Ford Explorer with no front plate. The driver was described as a female.
Arson – 9:41 p.m. – 8600 block of Watson – An unknown suspect lit the toilet seat dispenser on fire inside the men’s bathroom. The fire was extinguished by citizens using water from the faucet. There was minor damage to the walls from the fire.
DUI – 11:37 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield – A male subject was arrested for DUI after he crashed his vehicle into a brick wall and the residence at the location.

May 27, 2022

Pedestrian Check – 9:19 a.m. – Lincoln/Knott – From a pedestrian check, a female subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as three outstanding warrants.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 11:53 a.m. – 8700 block of Moody St. – A witness observed two subjects remove two catalytic converters from the victim’s vehicle and flee the area in a gray sedan with the license plates covered. The witness opted to contact school administration prior to police and, therefore, there was a 5-10 minute delay.

May 28, 2022

Community Event – 3:50 p.m. – 9700 block of Doreen – The shift was hosted by a 4-year-old entrepreneur, who had a lemonade and cookie sale.
Petty Theft – 4:57 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Two subjects were arrested for petty theft when they were caught stealing wood pallets from the back of the store.

May 29, 2022

Grand Theft – 12:46 a.m. – 4000 block of Ball Rd. – Two subjects stole over $950 worth of alcohol and home goods and were last seen in a black station wagon northbound on Bloomfield.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 8:56 a.m. – 10900 block of Yamaha – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect attempted to steal the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
Robbery Report – 10:36 a.m. – 10600 block of Valley View St. – At approximately 1:00 a.m., while leaving work, the victim, an employee, was confronted by a male suspect while he was seated in his vehicle. The suspect pistol-whipped the victim with a handgun and demanded money. When the victim was unable to produce any money, the suspect attempted to strike victim again and then stole the victim’s Samsung cell phone. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot eastbound across Valley View.
Arrest – 5:05 p.m. – 5900 block of Corporate – A female subject was arrested for felony vandalism, criminal threats, and possession of a gravity knife after she threatened the victim with great bodily harm and used her knife to vandalize his vehicle.
