Tiffany & Co. reopened on Tuesday in a new 15,000-square-foot location at South Coast Plaza.
Tiffany & Co. moved from its previous store in the Nordstrom wing to its current space next to Gucci and Burberry on the first level of South Coast.
The luxury jeweler first opened at the Costa Mesa shopping center in 1988, which remains Tiffany’s only outpost in Orange County. The previous location also housed a Tiffany Blue Box Café, its second and only spot outside New York City.
The newly renovated space was designed by American architect Peter Marino, known for his work on luxury boutiques for Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton.
A selection of pieces from The Tiffany Archives with ties to California will be on display inside the store alongside the company’s high jewelry creations and diamond designs.
