For someone with a background in writing, VP JD Vance recently said something about “celebrating the 25th anniversary of 9/11.” There is still nothing to celebrate but plenty of bigotry out there to suggest that NYC Mayor Mandami should pass on attending today’s memorial service (he isn’t Arabian and was 9 years old when the Towers fell.) But do enjoy President Trump sleeping through the service in DC.
Take a moment to think of the innocents lost that day and how, for a brief moment, Americans were united.
