With six unique flavor combinations and one month of voting, Postino is ready to start its 2026 Battle of The Bruschetta. The wine cafe and restaurant’s annual tradition begins its fourth year on June 15th, welcoming members of the community to order competing bruschetta flavors before voting on their favorites. Postino is known for its year-round menu of both classic and unique bruschetta recipes, though their limited-edition competition flavors are particularly inventive: the battle’s first matchup will feature a cherry mostarda bruschetta on a ricotta base going head-to-head with a peanut butter, bacon, and banana combination (an ode to Elvis). After a two-week voting period, new flavors will duel over customers’ taste buds, including roast beef and horseradish vs. white cheddar mortadella and smashed peas on whipped feta vs. crispy pear on Cambozola. Each Postino location will offer QR codes for voting, with a nationwide championship round between the two most popular bruschette taking place the first two weeks of August. These original, hand-crafted contenders are in good company, with past victors including the fan-favorites French Onion and Mexican Street Corn. Postino’s summer champion will be announced via social media on August 17th. The reward for winning flavor combination? A permanent—and well-earned—spot on Postino’s fall menu.
