SullivanCurtisMonroe Insurance Services is excited to welcome Bobby Aguirre to its Irvine office in the newly expanded role of Vice President, Commercial Client Services. Aguirre brings with him more than 25 years of experience and an outstanding reputation in the insurance industry. Beginning his career as a Claims Adjuster then becoming an Underwriter, he transitioned into management in 2014, leading teams of underwriters and sales professionals with insurance carriers such as Chubb and Travelers. He worked at The Hanover for the past decade, most recently as Regional Sales Director for the Pacific Region.
“Bobby is a significant hire for SCM because of his strong understanding of our organization,” said Steve Marquez, president of SCM. “We’ve worked with him as a carrier partner for years, and we know firsthand the professionalism, integrity, and deep expertise he embodies.”
In his new role, Aguirre will be responsible for the commercial client services teams within SCM’s Commercial Division. Working closely with colleagues across the division, he will focus on strengthening exceptional client experience, retention, growth, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Aguirre has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Macalester College. He lives in Huntington Beach and enjoys biking, playing basketball and maintaining an active lifestyle.
