OCVibe will be constructing a new 110,000-square-foot art museum to open alongside its existing dining, hospitality and entertainment plans.
The facility will be the first museum in the U.S. by teamLab, an international art collective based in Japan. Architecture will be overseen by smith-clementi, OCVibe’s master planners, and LPA.
The teamLab museum is scheduled to open in 2030 on the south side of OCVibe, replacing a current parking lot behind the ARTIC (Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center).
OCVibe is preparing for its first phase of openings in 2027, which include a 5,000-person capacity concert hall, the 50,000-square-foot market hall Katella Commons and The Weave office building.
