Join the Laguna Beach Emergency Disaster Preparedness Committee on Tuesday September 8 2026 for a El Niño Winter 2026/2027 symposium.
Meet at 6:00pm at Laguna Beach City Hall located at 505 Forest Avenue.
Dr. Daniel Swain climate scientist with UC Agriculture & Natural Resources, will give an update on the El Niño now building in the Pacific and what forecasters expect it to bring here.
Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley Vice Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, will cover emergency preparedness priorities, resources, and initiatives across the county and here in Laguna Beach.
Staff from the City’s Public Works and Community Development Departments will also share an update.
