March 31, 2022

Traffic Collision – 5:03 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A semi truck reportedly hit a power pole and knocked it down. Edison was notified and responded. Report taken.

April 1, 2022

Vehicle Tampering Report – 9:36 a.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – A driver’s side door handle was reportedly missing from the vehicle report taken.
Counseling – 6:41 p.m. – 8000 block of Redford Ln. – The caller reportedly discovered a tracking device on their father’s vehicle. The device was possibly attached the previous night in Rossmoor. Incident report taken.

April 2, 2022

Disturbance (Subject) – 5:51 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – Customers were creating a verbal disturbance and possibly pushing each other. Police stood by and waited for all parties to disperse. No serious injuries and no prosecution desired.
Suspicious Subject – 8:43 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – A male subject was reportedly tampering the buses parked to the rear of the hotel. Police determined that the subject was an employee of the bus company and was working on the bus.

April 3, 2022

Fraud/Forgery Report – 1:14 p.m. – 5100 block of Del Este Cir. – The caller believed that she was in the process of purchasing a vehicle through Enterprise and was expecting a delivery at 7:30 a.m. The vehicle was not delivered. She contacted Enterprise and was informed that she had been scammed. The loss was $500 in gift cards. Report taken.
Public Works Information – 6:48 p.m. – 5500 block of Pineridge Dr. – A possible water leak was reported at the meter and residence. Water department notified.

April 4, 2022

Found Property – 6:20 p.m. – 8200 block of Walker St. – The reporting party found credit cards in a field while out on a walk. The property was returned to its owner. No report desired.
Petty Theft Report – 9:48 p.m. – 5900 block of La Palma Ave. – The reporting party recognized two males that had stolen perfume in the past. The loss tonight was cough syrup and valued at approximately $30. Petty theft report taken.

April 5, 2022

Incident Report – 9:23 a.m. – 7400 block of Brian Ln. – The reporting party was reportedly scammed from what she thought was registration for soccer. The loss was $895.
Counseling – 1:49 p.m. – 6800 block of Marlin Cir. – A subject reportedly arrived after employees had left, and the plates put on over the outlets had been removed and the subject was using power from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The reporting party had surveillance available.

April 6, 2022

Counseling – 1:07 p.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – The reporting party advised that his bike was stolen approximately 2 months ago and he believed that he saw a subject with the bike. The bike was painted a different color but was missing the same parts from the motor.
Disturbance (Family) – 6:07 p.m. – 5500 block of Crescent Ave. – A subject reportedly wanted a key from his wife so he could buy beer. The subject had been drinking. Both parties counseled.
