Cypress PD invites public to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR)

The Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) for Special Olympics is the largest grassroots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle in the world. The annual Torch Run and its various fundraising projects have two goals: raising money and creating awareness for the athletes who participate in Special Olympics, championing acceptance and inclusion.

Friday, June 10, 2022 – 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

We invite everyone to come out along the route to help “CHEER ON OUR RUNNERS!”

Cypress Police Department officers, City of Cypress officials, and Special Olympics athletes will run through the streets of Cypress all to benefit Special Olympics, Southern California.

The route is as follows:

  • Begins northwest corner of Knott Ave. and Cerritos Ave.
  • West on Cerritos Ave.
  • South on Holder St.
  • East on Katella Ave.
  • South on Knott Ave.
  • End at the corner of Knott Ave. and Orangewood Ave.
  • Torch is handed off to Garden Grove PD
The Cypress Police Department will participate in the 2022 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
