Legendary Disney Icon Bob Gurr will present and showcase his journey as an original Disney Imagineer. Bob has been featured in “The Imagineering Story” on Disney+ and has designed most of the attraction vehicles with wheels in the original Disneyland Park, including Autopia cars, Haunted Mansion Doom Buggies, Monorail, Submarine Voyage and many more.
The Nerd Mafia group will host cosplay contests for all ages.
Special Guest Artist Cecil Castellucci is an award-winning and New York Times Bestselling author of original books and graphic novels for young adults, including “Shade”, “The Changing Girl”, “The Plain Janes”, “Soupy Leaves Home”, as well as new works from DC Comics, the Stars Wars galaxy, Dark Horse Comics, and more! Cecil will be speaking about the storytelling space.
Attendees can enjoy savory eats from Guac N’ Roll food truck and desserts from Tocumbo Ice Cream.
We will have a special superhero storytime, 501st Legion and Rebel Legion cosplayers, O.C. Ghostbusters, games, crafts, or other fun activities.
AnaCon is on Saturday, Apr. 27, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Anaheim Central Library, 500 W. Broadway.
