Don Omar is recovering from his recent battle with cancer.
The King of Reggaeton revealed in a post to Instagram on Sunday that he was being treated for cancer. He posted a photo of his hospital bracelet from Orlando Health.
In a translated post the caption read: “Yes today but tomorrow I will be cancer free. Good intentions are well received. See you all soon.”
Early Monday morning, the “Danza Kuduro” singer posted another photo sharing some great news as he held a peace sign.
“I woke up today cancer free and grateful. Thank you for your good wishes, prayers and thousands of messages,” he captioned the photo. “My surgery was a success now to recover.”
Omar, whose real name is William Omar Landrón Rivera, did not reveal any more details about the diagnosis.
The singer is set to kick off his Back to Reggaeton Tour in Oakland, California on Aug. 7. He has not revealed if his health matters will impact the tour.
Omar will hit the stage of Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Aug. 20.
