July 7, 2022
Burglary Report – 5:04 a.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – Police responded to burglary alarms and confirmed broken glass breaks at multiple locations. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department dispatched unites to assist.
Disturbance (Party) – 9:39 p.m. – 8600 block of Santa Margarita Ln. – The caller reported juveniles creating a disturbance in the pool. Party advised and will comply.
Medical Aid – 11:22 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr.- A juvenile’s hand was reportedly stuck in the elevator. Orange County Fire Authority responded.
July 8, 2022
Counseling – 4:46 p.m. – 8000 block of Bluebird Ln. – The reporting party requested assistance with household upkeep and resources as the RP’s mother had passed away recently.
Illegal Peddling – 6:26 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – Five subjects were reportedly peddling in front of the store. The store had asked them to leave and the subjects were refusing. Party advised and will comply.
July 9, 2022
Counseling – 8:54 a.m. – 7900 block of Sunflower Ln. – The reporting party advised that mail was taken from the mailbox Wednesday and Thursday. The mail was found and returned to the reporting party by a neighbor and advised that evelopes had been opened. Three open envelopes still contained mail and two were empty. Report taken.
Transient – 5:54 p.m. – Crescent/Moody – A female subject was reportedly yelling “They’re coming to get me” and was previously seen walking in traffic, laying down and hitting her head on the curb. Police made contact with the subject, who was subsequently arrested on bench warrants for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges.

Welfare Check – 7:55 a.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reported “poisonous smelling smoke” coming from the apartment beneath the reporting party and that the smell was coming through the floor. Orange County Fire Authority responded and no unusual smell was detected.
Disturbance (Noise) – 2:41 p.m. – Moody/La Palma – A subject was reportedly being loud on a megaphone. The caller requested that the subject lower the volume. Party advised and will comply.
July 11, 2022
Brandishing a Weapon – 7:02 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – A patient reportedly pulled a knife on another patient. The knife was pulled off the subject by a nurse. The aggressor was discharged from the hospital and all parties were counseled.
Found Property – 8:42 p.m. – 7800 block of Sunflower Ln. – A wallet was found at the northwest corner of Valley View and La Palma. The wallet was returned to the owner, who had left it on the roof of her vehicle when at a restaurant.
Disturbance (Family) – 9:31 p.m. – 7800 block of Camden Cir. – The caller’s brother reportedly grabbed the reporting party’s arm and attempted to pull her into the house while shouting at her. The caller desired prosecution. Her brother stated that her child would be parentless the following day. A 44-year-old male subject was arrested for assault and battery on a person and criminal threats.
July 12, 2022
Disturbance (Subject) – 5:01 a.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The reporting party could not give a subject a refund, and the subject reportedly used a tip container to hit the reporting party before leaving in a vehicle. Assault report taken.
Suspicious Circumstances – 10:23 p.m. – 8600 block of Devon Cir. – The caller reported a male subject possibly following a female subject. Police made contact with the male subject and determined that there was no crime at this time. There had been a language and cultural barrier and the male had been attempting to offer a car seat to the female.
July 13, 2022
Pedestrian Check – 8:04 a.m. – 5000 block of La Palma Ave. – Police contacted a subject in the driveway/garage at a City-owned property. A 31-year-old male subject was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, appropriation of lost property, an outstanding warrant, and possession of a controlled substance. The subject was transported to and booked at Orange County Jail.
Disturbance (Subject) – 9:11 a.m. – 5000 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A female subject was reportedly yelling and throwing items in the drive thru. The subject was contacted and advised regarding trespassing.
Stray Animals – 2:00 p.m. – 6900 block of Walker St. – A subject reportedly stopped a vehicle and let kittens out of it. Police located the animals at the 6900 block of Walker St. One cat was not contained and it was possible others were in the area.
