The General Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The election will be for the Mayor, for a term of two (2) years; and three (3) Councilmember Ward Seats (Ward 1, Ward 3, and Ward 5), each for a term of four (4) years. The election will also be for four (4) Measures placed on the ballot by the Santa Ana City Council.
The candidate filing period opens at 8 a.m. Monday, July 15, and runs through 5 p.m. on Friday, August 9. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office with any questions and to make an appointment to pull nomination papers.

Las elecciones municipales generales se llevarán a cabo el martes 5 de noviembre de 2024. La elección será para el alcalde, por un período de dos (2) años; y tres (3) puestos de concejal por distrito (distrito 1, distrito 3, y distrito 5), cada uno por un período de cuatro (4) años. La elección también será para cuatro (4) medidas colocadas en la boleta electoral por el Concejo Municipal de Santa Ana.
El período de presentación de candidatos se abre a las 8 de la mañana del lunes 15 de julio y se extiende hasta las 5 de la tarde del viernes 9 de agosto.
