On 1/30/2025, at 11:35 p.m., police officers conducted a vehicle stop for multiple VC violations in the area of Tilden Street and Hazard Avenue, according to the Westminster Police Department.
A search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed the driver was in possession of 8 grams of methamphetamine and over 35 grams of fentanyl, working digital scales, and other items indicative of drug sales.
The driver was taken into custody and transported to OCJ for drug sales.
Less than 12 hours later, at 11:29 a.m., WPD police officers were patrolling in the area of Garden Grove Boulevard and Goldenwest St. when they conducted a car stop of a vehicle for VC violations.
Upon contacting the driver it was learned he was on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) out of Bakersfield for weapons related charges.
A search of the subject and his vehicle revealed he was in possession of an unserialized firearm, high capacity magazines, multiple rounds of ammunition, and a switch blade.
The subject was taken into custody and booked at OCJ for multiple felonies including felon in possession of firearm and felon in possession of ammunition to name a few.
