Orange County’s oldest law school will have a new home to start the fall 2025 semester.
Western State College of Law, the juris doctorate-issuing school Westcliff University, will move into its new home at 15101 Red Hill Ave. in Tustin ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 academic year.
Westcliff University bought the property from Riverside-based Fortland Inc. in March for $13.4 million, per CoStar data.
Western State College of Law is currently located at 16715 Von Karman Ave., Suite 100 in Irvine. The American Bar Association-approved law school was founded in 1966 and operated in three locations – Fullerton, Irvine and San Diego – by the 1990s.
The San Diego campus became independent and re-branded as the Thomas Jefferson School of law in 1995, and the Irvine branch was later consolidated with Western State’s Fullerton location.
Western State College of Law became a part of Argosy University in 2012. Westcliff University bought the law school in 2019 and converted it into a for-profit academic institution.
Westcliff University’s Anthony Lee was honored with the Business Journal’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award on March 20.
