Today:

Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight:

Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 66. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Highs are forecast to rise slightly over the weekend before dropping down into the 70s next week.

  • 1862 The Union is victorious at the Battle of Perryville, the largest Civil War combat to take place in Kentucky.
