Nothing says summer sun and chill vibes quite like the sound of UB40 playing their monster catalogue of hits. I have so many fond memories of enjoying the California sun with friends – and beverages – as “Red Red Wine” and “(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You” wafted through the air.
The four-time Grammy-nominated, pop-reggae band returns to our shores for the fourth consecutive year with their Relentless Tour, launching August 17th. The legends will hit 33 cities and bring their incredible sound and electrifying performance to every corner of the country and parts of Canada. This is a band that puts on a SHOW with every member at the top of their game – you will not be disappointed!
With James Brown (drums), Robin Campbell (guitar/vocals), Earl Falconer (bass/vocals), Norman Hassan (percussion/vocals), Martin Meredith (keyboards/sax), Jahred Gordon (keyboards), Laurence Parry (horns), Ian Thompson (sax), Gilly G (MC vocals), Matt Campbell (backing vocals), and lead vocalist and guitarist Matt Doyle, UB40 are prepared to show you why they are deemed legends.
Discussing the tour, Robin Campbell said, “We always look forward to returning to the U.S. Traveling coast-to-coast with over 30 dates, visiting some of our favorite places with great support acts, we can’t wait.”

Jimmy Brown added, “We are looking forward to our upcoming U.S. tour. No doubt we’ll be clocking up the miles on the road, as we always do with many hours spent on the tour bus, but American audiences are so much fun to play to and are so loud in their appreciation that it is one of the most rewarding countries to tour. We’ve toured the U.S. every year for the last three years, this being the fourth, and it gets better every time.”
The jaunt kicks off in Atlanta and ends October 5th in Vegas. SoCal gets several shows: September 28th in Cerritos at Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts; October 2nd in Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theatre with The English Beat; October 3rd in Temecula at Pechanga Theatre; and October 4th in San Diego at Open Air Theatre with The English Beat.
