Kaiser Permanente Anaheim and Irvine medical centers are among the best in the nation for delivering high-quality care, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings and ratings released today.
These two Orange County hospitals, along with the other 37 Kaiser Permanente hospitals across the country, were rated among the top 20% in the nation as high performing for at least one of the 35 medical specialties, conditions and procedures that U.S. News & World Report monitors.
Kaiser Permanente Anaheim and Irvine medical centers ranked #21 on U.S. News & World Report’s list of top hospitals in the state for overall care and #12 in the Los Angeles metro area.

U.S. News & World Report rated Kaiser Permanente Anaheim and Irvine medical centers as “high performing” or “nationally ranked” in the following specialties:
- Pulmonology and Lung Surgery.
- Geriatrics.
- Gastroenterology and GI Surgery
- Orthopedics.
U.S. News considered more than 4,500 hospitals for its 33rd annual rankings/ratings report.
