Blair Field in Long Beach, the home of the Long Beach State Dirtbags and Goodwin Field, the home stadium for the Cal State Fullerton Titans, have been selected as the sites for the CIF baseball finals Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31, according to Thom Simmons, assistant CIF commissioner.
Blair Field is located near the Long Beach State campus in Recreation Park.
CIF officials will announce the locations and dates teams will play later, Simmons said.
Cal State Fullerton hosted the finals in 2022 and Blair Field was the host in 2023. The finals were held at Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium in 2024.
Both sites turned out to be popular venues for fans.
While most teams will finish up regular season play this week, the last allowable date for games is Wednesday, May 7. The first round of the playoffs are Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16. Semifinals are Tuesday, May 27.
