Two Orange County high school baseball teams earned top seeds and others received top four seedings in the CIF baseball playoffs brackets released Monday morning.
All four top-four seeded teams in Division 1 are from Orange County.
Trinity League champion Orange Lutheran is first, Trinty League runner-up JSerra is second, Empire League champion Cypress is third and Surf League champion Huntington Beach is fourth.
Orange Lutheran, Foothill, Cypress and Huntington Beach received first round byes.
Garden Grove League champion Los Amigos is seeded first in Division 7.
In Division 3, San Joaquin League champion Capistrano Valley Christian is third and Pacific Coast League champion Woodbridge fourth behind No. 1 La Quinta of La Quinta and No. 2 Kaiser.
Tesoro is seeded third in Division 4, Tustin is third in Division 5, Estancia is second and Anaheim fourth in Division 6.
Besides No. 4 Woodbridge in Division 3, Beckman, Northwood and Irvine all qualified from the Pacific Coast League and will have first round byes. Woodbridge is the only PCL team getting a home game in the opening round. The Warriors (21-7) host Saugus (15-18) Friday at Ryan Lemmon Stadium.
Wave League champion Corona del Mar, the Wave League champion, is in Division 1 and hosts Servite Friday.
Golden West co-league champions Ocean View (Division 1) and Segerstrom (Division 4) also qualified. Segerstrom hosts Mary Star Thursday while Ocean View hosts Bishop Amat Friday.
CIF officials said that 243 teams qualified in seven playoff divisions. First round games will be held on Thursday, May 5 in divisions 2, 4, 6 and on Friday, May 6 for divisions 1, 3, 5, 7. The finals are scheduled for Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 at Cal State Fullerton.
Games are scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
