Two felons were arrested again on auto theft, weapon and warrant charges in Westminster

If you saw a large police presence at Nancy Lee Dr and Westminster Boulevard this morning the Westminster Police Department has finally announced what happened.

On 2/7/2025, at 0850 am, WPD police officers were conducting proactive patrol in the area of Nancy Lee Dr and Westminster Boulevard when they located an occupied stolen vehicle.

The vehicle was reported stolen to WPD three days prior. While filling the report the victim advised it was possible that he left his firearms in the vehicle.

The officers conducted a high risk vehicle stop and detained two subjects. The driver was later identified and determined the be on parole for robbery.

The passenger was identified and had an active felony warrant. The vehicle was recovered and officers located a Mossberg shotgun belonging the victim/owner of the vehicle.

Both subjects were arrested and booked at OCJ for multiple felonies including vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, felon in possession of a firearm, and a felony warrant to name a few.
