Tustin Pony’s 14-and-under all-stars, coached by Pete Medina, began competition in the regional tournament Wednesday at Tewinkle Park in Costa Mesa facing Placentia.
The winner advances to play Saturday at 2:45 p.m. while the losing team plays Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
The tournament, which runs through Sunday, is hosted by Costa Mesa Pony.
