DIA DE LOS MUERTOS FESTIVAL
The yearly Muckenthaler Cultural Center event brings the community together to celebrate Dia de los Muertos with activities for the whole family. The free event features live music, arts and crafts, local food vendors, and artisans. Each part of the festival is specifically themed to the holiday and its cultural roots, with community ofrenda displays, sugar skull artwork, traditional music, and more. CLASSIC CONCERT: SPOOKY SYMPHONIES
The Orchestra Collective of Orange County will perform a collection of classical favorites with a haunting twist. JUMP IN THE LINE! A MUSICAL CELEBRATION OF HARRY BELAFONTE
Rene Marie and her seven-piece band will perform a selection of songs by the beloved King of Calypso, including deep cuts all the way through his greatest hits. Marie’s band features piano, bass, drums, percussion, guitar, trumpet, and trombone, and the performance will include fan favorites like “Jump in the Line,” “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song),” and “Man Smart (Woman Smarter).” The stunning tribute captures Belafonte’s remarkable music career and the story of how he grew into fame.
