SHELLEY CONDUCTS “CARMEN” AND “DAPHNIS AND CHLOE”
Artistic and music director designate Alexander Shelley will conduct the Pacific Symphony and the Pacific Chorale through a performance of Bizet’s “Suite No. 1 from Carmen,” Gabriela Montero’s “Latin Concerto,” and Ravel’s “Daphnis and Chloe.” Pianist Gabriela Montero will be joining the performance for a lively Latin-influenced concerto. PACIFIC SYMPHONY PLAYS MOZART AND BEETHOVEN
The Pacific Symphony Chamber Orchestra is set to perform famous works from Mozart and Beethoven with Julian Rhee on violin and the symphony’s new music director Alexander Shelley conducting.
