Pairings for the CIF boys basketball were announced Sunday and a number of Orange County teams earned high seeds in the playoffs that begin with wild card games on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
First round games are Wednesday, Feb. 8.
No Orange County teams are in the open division.
In Division 1, Mater Dei is seeded second and JSerra fourth. JSerra is an at-large team from the Trinity League.
Tesoro is seeded third in the 2AA division. Pacifica Christian is second in 2A, Orangewood Academy is second in 3AA, La Habra is second in 3A, St. Margaret’s is third and Troy fourth in 4AA, Sage Hill is fourth in 4A and Tarbut V’ Torah is fourth in 5A.
The divisional finals will be held at Honda Center, Mira Costa High School, Colony High School and Edison High School on Saturday, Feb. 25.
