Tiffany Haddish was arrested early Friday morning in Beverly Hills for a DUI after she allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel.
Authorities responded to Beverly Drive and Dayton Way around 5:45 a.m. for a well-being check, Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to KTLA.
The actress and comedian wasn’t involved in a car crash, but authorities said they received calls about someone stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive, apparently slumped over the steering wheel, while the car was still running, according to TMZ.
Haddish was arrested and released later on in the day. On Thanksgiving, she performed at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood for the club’s 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community.
Haddish was also arrested for a similar incident in Atlanta last year.
Authorities have yet to release more information about the incident.
