The Youth Center is hiring Camp S.H.A.R.K Counselors!
If you…
- are 18 years of age (or almost) or older
- love HANGING OUT AND INTERACTING WITH KIDS
- have experience or interest in CHILDCARE OR BEING A CAMP COUNSELOR
- ARE energetic, creative, and enthusiastic
- love working outdoors
- are seeking to gain leadership skills

Camp counselors are an active participant in all camp activities and will assist the Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Counselors interact with the campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a counselor is to participate, build relationships, and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.
Summer camp runs from June 12 to August 11. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour.
