The last time we saw The Who, it was 2022 and the legendary rockers visited the Hollywood Bowl, Golden 1, and the Honda Center, delivering such spectacular shows many thought it was their final send off.
But The Who are back for their REAL final send off with their North American farewell tour, aptly named The Song is Over.
The goodbye tour will give Californians one last chance to see the hard rock pioneers at the Hollywood Bowl on September 17th and 19th.
Then, they will head down south to Shoreline Amphitheatre on September 30th.
The Who have been ahead of the rock game for over 60 years and defied the bounds of the genre with their blending of sub-genres, punk rock and rock opera.

In fact, they are considered the precursors of these genres. Iconic tracks such as “Baba O’Riley,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” “My Generation,” “Who Are You,” and “Pinball Wizard” adequately exhibit their musical expertise with these tracks’ anthemic tones, distinctive rhythms, and relatable storytelling through the lyrics.
The English rockers still include founding members frontman Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, and of course waltzed right into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
On the road, they are joined by longtime members Zak Starkey (drums), Simon Townshend (guitar), and Billy Nicholls (backing vocals), along with Loren Gold (keyboards) and Jon Button (bass).
With the significance of The Who’s musical prowess, a historic and significant venue like the Hollywood Bowl is the perfect spot to host the rock stars.
The open layout and impressive acoustics are ideal for The Who’s thunderous sound.

Similar to the magnificence of the Bowl, the Shoreline Amphitheatre’s picturesque surroundings and excellent acoustics will be an incredible place to see The Who.
North Americans won’t get this chance again, so get your tickets now!
