The Garden Grove arrested a man on murder charges after he intenionally ran over a victim

On December 10th, at 2:54 AM, police officers responded to the 12200 block of Brookhurst Street, regarding some type of disturbance, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.

Officers arrived and found the victim severely injured and required immediate transportation to a local hospital. During the investigation, a witness/victim stated that victim #1 was run over intentionally by a vehicle that was still at the scene when officers arrived. Victim #2 did not sustain any injuries.

GGPD officers and GGPD Detectives began investigating the case and identified the suspect as Thuan Duong.

Yesterday, December 17, 2024, GGPD Detectives arrested Duong and he was later booked into Orange County Jail for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
