The Youth Center is proud to announce our 2022 Family of the Year, Los Alamitos local family the Forehans! On December 2, 2022, the entire Forehan family – Chris, his son and daughter-in-law Joey and Charlene, and their sons Liam and Shane – were front and center in the Seal Beach Annual Christmas parade representing the Youth Center.
The Forehans were chosen this year because of their involvement with the community and The Youth Center in particular.
Chris Forehan not only serves on the Board of Directors for the Youth Center but he also serves on the Board of the Los Alamitos School district. Needless to say Chris loves helping children excel which is evident with his own family. Joey & Charlene Forehan are also involved with community volunteering, and have been bringing their sons Liam and Shane to the Youth Center to enjoy Camp Shark and our Kids Night Out programs.
Both Joey and Charlene are very involved in their community and we’re so proud to introduce the entire Forehan family as The Youth Center’s 2022 Family of the Year!
The Youth Center has served over one million children since 1952 through camps, after school programs, tutoring, music education, and leadership programming. The Youth Center is eternally grateful to the people in the community, adults and kids alike, that help the center and their mission. The Youth Center is forever thankful to the Forehan family for their love and dedication to The Youth Center.
