With new tunes in tow and suitcases ready to go, the pop-punk super duo of Kelly Ogden and Luis Cabazas – who we affectionately know as The Dollyrots – are ready to hit the road and bring their electrifying sound to the masses.
The band is currently on their Sugar in the Gas Tank tour, but before you know it, this traveling circus of sonic joy will be on the West Coast.
The Dollyrots will make several much-anticipated pit stops on the East Coast and Midwest before they head across the pond to play shows in the UK before they head out to the left coast.
For the West Coast leg, The Dollyrots will be joined by the incredible Go Betty Go, and already, fans can’t wait to see these two dynamic bands.
Going on 25 years as a force in the music industry, The Dollyrots are known for their high-energy music with clever lyrics and that infectious Kelly Ogden smile. Original songs we’ve grown to love include “Because I’m Awesome,” “Brand New Key,” and “Twist Me to the Left,”

Their covers are unreal – everything from Nirvana’s “Breed,” to Divinyls’ “I Touch Myself,” to Rancid’s “Ruby Soho,” to Katrina and thew Qaves “Walking on Sunshine,” to Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation,” to Tom Petty’s “American Girl,” to Gilbert O. Sullivan’s “Alone Again (Naturally).”

As for new music, the wait is almost over. Dollyrots fans have been on pins and needles for the upcoming single, “Get on This Ride,” which we now know drops June 27th.
All this and a tour from this dynamic duo, what a great way to kick off the summer!
Locals can expect to see Kelly and Luis on July 2nd at The Holding Company in San Diego, then on July 3rd they’ll land at The Echo in Los Angeles.
Then they will head back to the OC where they will play The Parish at the House of Blues Anaheim on July 5th.
