The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation awards a $5K grant to Santa Ana’s Priority Center

The American Land Title Association (ALTA) Good Deeds Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded by ALTA, the national trade association of the land title insurance industry, announced they have awarded $5,000 to The Priority Center in Santa Ana, Calif.

Don Kennedy at First American in Santa Ana nominated the nonprofit to receive the grant. The Priority Center is one of 21 nonprofit organizations across the United States that received a grant this month from the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation. The Foundation announced the recipients of this year’s second round of biannual grants during ALTA ONE, ALTA’s largest annual event, in New York City.

“The Foundation is a reflection of ALTA members’ generosity and shared commitment to community,” said ALTA CEO Chris Morton. “Each grant strengthens the bonds between title professionals and the neighborhoods they serve. It’s inspiring to see how this collective effort continues to grow, with more than $1.3 million invested in organizations that change lives every day.”

“We are honored to be the recipient of this grant from the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation,” said Kathy McCarrell, Interim Chief Executive Officer at The Priority Center. “Our organization will use this grant to support individuals and families in crisis, providing the tools and guidance needed to break the generational cycle of trauma.”
