TESORO 53, SAN CLEMENTE 41: The Titans (10-1) captured a second round win at the Beach Bash Tournament at Corona del Mar Wednesday night. Carson Brown scored 24 points and had five rebounds and Nathan Draper scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Tesoro, which moves on to Friday night’s semifinals against Los Alamitos at 6:30 p.m.
Los Alamitos defeated Rancho Verde 37-36 Wednesday night.
PACIFICA CHRISTIAN 75, PORTOLA 36: The Tritons defeated Portola Wednesday night in the Beach Bash Tournament at Newport Harbor. EJ Spillman had 14 points, Tanner Deal 13 points and Parker Strauss 11 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to lead Pacifica Christian.
It was Pacifica Christian’s first game in the tournament. The Tritons (5-1) will face JSerra Thursday at 8:20 p.m. at CdM with the winner advancing into the championship semifinals.
Portola (7-3) was led by Ryan Chu with 11 points and Colin Huang with seven points. The Bulldogs play Crean Lutheran Friday at 3:30 p.m. at CdM.
SANTA ANA 58, EL MODENA 47: The Saints (6-1) notched a road win Wednesday night. Emmanuel Lemus had 18 points, Jack Rivera 13 points, Luis Sandoval 12 points and Matt Rojas seven points to lead Santa Ana.
LOARA 72. GARDEN GROVE 59: The Saxons (3-5) were led by 6-7 junior center Markus Toscano, who had 21 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots in the non-league game Wednesday night. Sean Dumapias, a 5-7 junior point guard, had 15 points and five assists.
Sophomore guard Drue Anzai led Garden Grove (2-8) with 17 points.
Loara is back in action Friday night at home vs. Anaheim at 6 p.m.
FOOTHILL 66, CALVARY CHAPEL 33: The Knights (6-1) bounced back from Monday’s loss at the Beach Bash Tournament with a victory Wednesday night. Isaiah Bernard had 20 points, six rebounds and nine assists, Travis Paleo had 20 points and five rebounds and Rohan Kamdar and Danny Kennard had six points each for Foothill.
SERVITE 72, MOUNTAIN VIEW 41: The Friars captured a non-league win Wednesday night. Aaron Ballistrieri had 16 points, Ben Vandenberg 13 points and Scott Schultz 10 points to lead Servite.
BONITA 64, YORBA LINDA 56: The Mustangs (4-2) lost in the Gary Raya Classic at El Dorado Wednesday night. Tanner Yoon scored 25 points to lead Yorba Linda. Jordan J. Laws added eight points for the Mustangs. Colton Perez scored 23 points to lead Bonita (5-3).
TARBUT V’ TORAH 79, LEGACY COLLEGE PREP 27: The Lions (5-2) won a non-league game Tuesday night. Yonah Light led TVT with 20 points while Isaac Joelson had 17 points and Ari Varon 11 points.
