TESORO 6, EL TORO 5: The Titans (14-1, 1-0) captured a South Coast League victory Wednesday. Jackson Kemmerer was 2 for 4 with a double and three RBI, Hunter Slabatora was 3 for 3 with a run scored and Jackson Freeman had a double and two RBI.
The teams play against Thursday at Tesoro.
FULLERTON 9, SONORA 7: Nate Norman was 2 for 4 with a home run, double and four RBI and two run scored and hit the go-ahead two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning for league leading Fullerton (13-4, 6-1). Matt Kim was 3 for 4 with two runs scored, an RBI and a double and Kyle Kim got the win. He pitched 2 2/3 innings, striking out two and allowing no runs and no hits.
WOODBRIDGE 5, PORTOLA 2: The Warriors (10-5, 7-2) captured a Pacific Coast League victory Wednesday at Ryan Lemmon Stadium. Matthew Kuromoto pitched a complete game, allowing four hits and striking out two. Sean McCance had three hits and two RBI, Brandon Abernathy had two hits and an RBI for Woodbridge, which is in second place behind league leading Beckman.
Woodbridge plays at Portola Thursday in a makeup of Tuesday’s rained out game.
FOOTHILL 2, EL DORADO 1: The Knights (12-6, 3-1)) notched another walk-off win Wednesday. After an RBI triple by Austin Overn, Garrett Davidson drove him in for the game-winner.
Overn was 2 for 4 with a run scored, RBI and a triple, Davidson was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a walk and Aiden Taurek and Grant Johnson were both 2 for 3. Gabriel Garcia pitched two innings and allowed no hits and no runs. Ernie Gonzalez pitched five innings, allowing one hit and no earned runs.
CYPRESS 10, VALENCIA 0: The Centurions (12-3-2, 3-0) notched a win in the Empire League game Wednesday. Daniel Garcia was 2 for 2, Matthew Morrell was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBI and Luke Matlock was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Zack O’Campo, who pitched five scoreless innings, got the win.
