The popular Surf City Allstars will delight people of all ages during this year’s Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park on Saturday, August 5 at Oso Viejo Community Park.
Surf City Allstars, which is the only “tribute” band where every member toured in the Beach Boys band, kicks off the show during the Prelude in the Park that runs from 4 to 7 pm. Surf City Allstars includes David Logeman, Philip Bardowell, Austin Farmer and former Beach Boys member Chris Farmer. Along with classic tunes like “California Girls,” “Surfin’ USA” and “I Get Around,” the group plays songs by Jan and Dean – a perfect mix for the event’s “Under the Sea” theme.
Patrons of all ages will enjoy dancing and tasty fare from several gourmet good trucks along with a spectacular sea-themed surprise folks won’t want to miss.
Part of the City’s beloved annual signature event, Pacific Symphony – led by Maestro Carl St.Clair – follows at 7 pm.
Oso Viejo Park is located at 24932 Veterans Way.
