If you’ve ever wondered what YOU can do to fight human trafficking, please attend the annual Solidarity Walk and Prayer Vigil to Honor Human Trafficking Victims and Survivors on Tuesday, February 7th.
This event will take place at 6:55 p.m. in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church at 5201 Evergreen Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630. The evening will begin with Taize Prayer in the church and continue with a candlelit prayerful procession, returning to the church for a short informational presentation.
This Health Ministry event celebrates the International Day of Prayer and Awareness Against Human Trafficking, as well as the feast day of Saint Josephine Bakhita, patron saint of human trafficking victims. Although both occasions occur on February 8, our Solidarity Walk and Prayer Vigil has been scheduled for February 7 due to site limitations. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Monica Kovach, Chair of Bridge of Light Ministry: Human Trafficking to Human Triumph at 310-490-6113.
