Do you need a calming break from holiday shopping and preparations? You are invited to give yourself the gift of prayerful silence by walking the Advent Labyrinth on Monday, November 28th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the St. Irenaeus Parish Hall, 5201 Evergreen Ave., Cypress, CA 90630.
As the Advent season begins, the labyrinth walk is an excellent way to nourish our spirits and prepare our hearts for the birth of Christ on Christmas. Mother Teresa, in her book, Everything Starts from Prayer, advised, “If we really want to pray, we must first learn to listen; for in the silence of the heart, God speaks.” This path of prayer and peace only takes about 20-30 minutes.
The Advent Labyrinth Walk is a free event, and a great way to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. If you have any questions, please call Monica Kovach at 310-490-6113.
