Sonora captures Freeway League showdown against Troy and remains in first place

Sonora High School’s football team captured a 34-14 victory over Troy Friday night in a Freeway League showdown at La Habra. The teams went into the game undefeated in league tied for first place.

Sonora (8-1, 4-0) took over sole possession of first place with the victory. La Habra and Troy are tied for second place. La Habra defeated Fullerton 45-7 Friday night.
