I recently went to Adventure City for the first time. I have been to Disneyland many times. Adventure City is very small. Disneyland is very big. Not a lot of people know about Adventure City. Everybody knows about Disneyland. As far as amusement parks go, they are opposites. And while Disneyland is known as “the happiest place on Earth,” Adventure City has a lot to offer too.
For example, Adventure City is cheaper. A ticket into Adventure City is only $26.95. On the other hand, a ticket into Disneyland is $76. That is almost three times more! On top of that, Adventure City has cheaper food. I was able to get a pizza and a drink for a pretty good price.
But at Disneyland, the food is always expensive. Even their bottled water is really expensive! So when looking at cost, Adventure City seems like the better option.
However, are you paying more for a better experience? Disneyland is widely known to be amazing for family fun! The theme park is massive with too many rides to count! Each ride is mind-blowing fun. Meanwhile, Adventure cCity is very small. It only has a few rides, and the rides aren’t as big. So I would say that Disneyland definitely has the better attractions.
Another thing to consider is how busy the theme parks are. Nobody wants to wait in line all day! At Disneyland, there are always lines. The park is always busy any time you go. You can end up waiting hours in line for a ride, and this may not be fun for younger kids. At Adventure City, there are much shorter lines. The park is much less crowded, and you can get on the rides you choose pretty quickly. If you don’t like waiting in lines, Adventure City can definitely be the better option.
Overall, the parks both have good and bad things about them. Disneyland definitely has better rides and attractions, but it is expensive and really crowded. With Adventure City, it is pretty cheap and you have to wait less, but the rides are nowhere close to Disneyland. I was able to have a good time at both places. So the decision is yours, but no matter where you go, just remember to have FUN!
