Irvine-based chipmaker Skyworks Solutions Inc. said second fiscal quarter revenue was $953 million, slightly above analysts’ estimates. The shares rose 2.8% to $68.76 apiece in after-hours trading.
The company said that for the current quarter it anticipates revenue of $920 million to $960 million, with adjusted diluted earnings per share holding steady at $1.24.
Skyworks also said today that Mark Dentinger has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective on June 2. Dentinger succeeds Kris Sennesael, who is stepping down from his role as chief financial officer on May 9.
