Rap legend Snoop Dogg is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his debut album “Doggystyle” by dropping limited edition sneakers in partnership with Skechers.
The new kicks are offered in both low-top and high-top versions. It features artwork from the Long Beach, California, native’s 1993 album printed across the shoes, including the tongue.
The design continues onto the shoe’s translucent outsole, which features the word Doggystyle to stay on theme.
Both shoes have Skechers’ Slip-in technology for “the smoothest way to get your dip on.”
The high tops run for $95, while the low tops run for $90.
Snoop’s album “Doggystyle” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It was certified four times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Rolling Stone named the album on its Essential Recordings of the ’90s list and The Source has it as one of the 100 Best Rap Albums.
The album featured hits like “Gin and Juice,” “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?,” “Lodi Dodi” and “Ain’t No Fun (If the Homies Can’t Have None).”
