Sixteen high school boys basketball teams will compete in the annual Santa Ana Varsity Tournament Monday, Nov. 13 through Saturday, Nov 18, according to Saints head coach Zach Johnson.
San Juan Hills, which won last year’s tournament, returns to defend its title.
The tournament will be held in gymnasiums at Santa Ana, Tustin and Huntington Beach.
Teams in the tournament are San Juan Hills, La Quinta, Tustin, Yorba Linda, Newport Harbor, Segerstrom, La Habra, Valencia, University, San Clemente, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Diamond Bar, Huntington Beach, California and Dana Hills.
The championship will be Saturday, Nov. 18 at Santa Ana.
