Seal Beach Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying suspects in armed robbery at T-Mobile

The Seal Beach Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at the T-Mobile.

On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at about 3:20 pm, the Seal Beach Police Department received a call of a robbery at the T-Mobile located at 12800 Seal Beach Boulevard #B. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that two suspects entered the store and allegedly attempted to steal high-end cellular phones by cutting the security cables affixed to the display.

An employee at the business attempted to stop one of the suspects by physically preventing him from leaving the store. The employee and suspect began to struggle, and a physical altercation ensued. After fighting for a several seconds, the suspect was able to get away from the employee and ran through the parking lot. Both suspects fled the scene in a gold-colored Lexus sedan prior to police arrival.

A witness observed that the suspect was holding a firearm in his hand during the fight. The gun was not fired during this incident. The employee was uninjured.

One suspect was described as a male Black, in his late 20’s, approximately 6’00” tall, weighing 180 lbs., and was seen wearing a black jacket and dark jeans.

The second suspect was described as a male Black or Latino, in his late 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing 160 lbs., and was seen wearing a light grey jacket and grey sweatpants.
