The City of Seal Beach has teamed up with the Golden Age Foundation to celebrate and honor centenarians in the Leisure World community. Typically, an annual event is held in Leisure World to celebrate birthdays of the centenarians, but this event has been put on pause recently due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With support from the City Council, the City is providing certificates, bouquets of flowers, and grocery store gift cards to the residents. Staff from the City Manager’s office will assist the Golden Age Foundation on April 20, 2022 with distributing the items to residents.
