SANTA ANA 19, SADDLEBACK 2: Santa Ana (11-11, 7-2) moved into first place with the Orange Coast League victory Friday at Saddleback. The Saints broke a four-game losing streak during games at the Santa Ana Elks Tournament.
Orange (11-8-1, 6-3) lost to Estancia 3-2 on Friday. Orange and Santa Ana have a two-game series next week, Tuesday at Santa Ana and Friday at Orange.
Josh Delgado was the winning pitcher for Santa Ana. He pitched four shutout innings and also went 4 for 5 at the plate, according to Santa Ana Coach Dave Silva.
Isaiah Robles and Ivan Ramirez both went 4 for 5. Juji Gonzalez was 3 for 4 with three RBI.
ESTANCIA 3, ORANGE 2: The Eagles captured an Orange Coast League win Friday at Estancia.
Estancia (17-4, 5-4) was led by Andrew Milts, who pitched six innings, allowing no earned runs. Milts (6-3) allowed eight hits and struck out five. James De La O recorded the save, allowing one hit.
Milts was also 1 for 3 with a run scored, Trevor Scott was 1 for 3 with a run scored, De La O was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI, Cole Lefebvre was 1 for 3 with a double and two RBI and Andrew Coyotzi was 2 for 3.
FULLERTON 6, LA HABRA 1: The Tribe (15-5, 7-2) completed a sweep of the Freeway League series Friday. EJ Ayala (1-0) got the victory, Conor Sunderland led the offensive attack, going 1 for 2 with two RBI, two runs scored and a walk.
Fullerton defeated La Habra 1-0 on Wednesday. Sebastian Fany (6-1) got the win, allowing three hits and no runs in five innings. Kyle Kim pitched two innings to get the save. Andrew Violet was 2 for 2 with a double and a run scored.
LOS AMIGOS 3, SANTIAGO 2: The Lobos (17-3, 8-3) were led by Juan Gutierrez, who got the victory on the mound. Aaron Ramirez had two hits and two RBI.
MISSION VIEJO 12, TESORO 6: Andreas Nilsen was 1 for 4 with two RBI and a run scored, Jack Matranga was 1 for 2 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored and Jack Wade was 1 for 2 with a walk, RBI and a run scored to lead the Diablos (11-5, 5-1) in the South Coast League game. Mission Viejo completed a three-game sweep of Tesoro (16-4, 3-3).
PACIFICA 4, TUSTIN 1: The Mariners split the Empire League series with the Tillers with a win on Friday. Pacifica (14-7, 1-2) was led by Johnny Dre Morales, who pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run and striking out five. Ryan Anema was 1 for 4 with a run scored, Chad Gurnea was 1 for 3 with a run scored to lead Pacifica.
