One of the most highly-successful high school baseball tournaments, the Ryan Lemmon Invitational, returns to the Orange County Great Park beginning Saturday, April 1 and running through Wednesday, April 5.

Thirty-two teams are entered.

“This year’s field is one of best ever with teams like  Ayala, Canyon of Anaheim, Capo Valley, Citrus Valley, Corona Centennial, Edison, Gahr, Northwood, San Clemente, Trabuco Hills, Woodbridge and Yucaipa,” said tournament director Dick Owens.

The event is presented by the Ryan Lemmon Foundation led by Guy Lemmon. Games will be held in the Great Park Stadium and two other fields in the complex.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $35 for an all-tournament pass for all days, $3 for seniors and $3 for students. Those 12-and-under are free. Proceeds go to the Ryan Lemmon Foundation, Owens said.
