L.A. Pride in the Park will be “Livin’ La Vida Loca” this year as Ricky Martin is set to be the annual celebration’s headliner.
Martin will be the first openly gay Latin artist to take the stage at LA Pride. It’s also the first time he’s headlined a Pride performance, the event’s website revealed.
The King of Latin Pride is excited to take center stage.
“I am thrilled to be headlining LA Pride in the Park because it’s an incredible opportunity to celebrate love, diversity, and equality,” said Martin. “LA Pride is a testament to the power of community, the power of visibility, and the power of standing up for our rights. Being part of this vibrant community fills me with pride and purpose.”

LA Pride in the Park takes place on June 8 at LA State Historic Park. Tickets can be purchased here.
On June 9, the 54th Annual LA Pride Parade will take place in the Hollywood Boulevard Area. It’s recognized as the “first permitted gay parade in the world.”
