“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member Dorit Kemsley and her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley are separating after nine years of marriage.
The couple made the announcement on each of their Instagram accounts.
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the couple explained in the statement.
The couple married in 2015 and have two children a daughter, Phoenix, and a son, Jagger.
“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children,” the statement continued.
The separation comes after the two slammed rumors late last year that their marriage was in trouble.
“We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family,” the Kemsleys said in a statement to PEOPLE magazine. “We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.”
They talked about their marital issues in the recent season of “RHOBH.” They talked about Dorit’s PTSD following the 2021 home invasion robbery of her Encino home. They also addressed PK’s constant travel for work.
“We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey,” the couple ended their note saying. “With love, Dorit and PK.”
