Retail thieves with a car full of stolen WSS merch arrested by CHP Santa Ana officers

Yesterday, on January 21st, 2025, CHP Santa Ana Area officers received a broadcast from the Orange County Communication Center to be on the lookout for a Jeep SUV with multiple suspects who recently stole items from a retail store, according to the CHP.

CHP Santa Ana Area officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and conducted an enforcement stop, detaining four suspects.

During the search of the suspect vehicle, $2,000 worth of stolen merchandise from a WSS in Corona were located.

The CHP’s partners from the Corona Police Department then responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

The CHP remains committed to combating organized retail crime and working with their partners to ensure safety and security statewide.
