Conservative outsider, small business owner, and former government advisor Jon Elist raised $258,157 in his very first reporting period as a candidate. Elist is prepping a bid to tackle failed career politician Alex Padilla. The Primary election is June 7, 2022.
Notably, Elist is now the among the top fundraising candidates in the field to replace Padilla, despite only being in the race for a few months. During this reporting period alone, Elist outraised every other candidate by over $80,000 at minimum.
“The early support for my campaign demonstrates there is a real appetite for change in our great state and country,” said Jon Elist.
“For voters who are sick and tired of rising inflation, sky high gas prices, crime, homelessness, open borders, failing schools, and all of the other problems created by incompetent career politicians, I am running for Senate to offer them a viable alternative,” Elist concluded.
“Elist is resonating with voters because of his firm grasp on the issues that affect American workers, families, and businesses,” said seasoned Campaign Strategist John Thomas.
“In just a few short months, Elist has already separated himself from the rest of the field,” Thomas continued. “Of all the candidates, Jon Elist is the last person Alex Padilla wants to face in the General election.”
